There's something majestic about this dish..! I used to love special occasions back home because I knew this would be the centre piece! There’s so many gorgeous ingredients to love in Stifado…, red wine, cinnamon sticks, sweet shallots, etc! Stunning!
Ingredients (for allergens please see letters in bold)
Beef, shallots, onion, tomatoes, Garlic Cloves, beef stock, olive oil, red wine(sulphites), red wine vinegar (sulphites), tomato puree, cinnamon, rosemary, nutmeg, bay leaves, black pepper, salt
Remove lid, place Stifado on an oven tray and place in the middle oven shelf. Cook at 180°C/356°F/Gas Mark 4 for 25 minutes or until piping hot
Arrives chilled. Keep in a fridge below 5°C or freeze. It's at its very best when cooked from fresh. Enjoy within 3-4 days of delivery. If frozen, defrost fully before cooking.
